Mummy Fever are thrilled to be working with a nominated charity.
The Cheshire and North Wales Human Milk Bank was established in 2003 and is based at the Countess of Chester Hospital. On average they process 1000 litres of donated breast milk each year. Their coverage for donors and recipients of human breast milk spans from Barrow in Furness to Cardiff and from Grimsby to Bangor.
They aim to have a regional service whereby all babies have access to donated breast milk irrespective of the location of their birth.
This really is an amazing charity and hear at Mummy Fever we have first-hand experience of receiving and donating. Although based in Chester this milk travels all over the country and we are very proud to support its continued hard work.
